Paul and Jan Sutherland helped with getting board approval, Mike Goode ordered supplies and John Vanzusen is donating his time to build the racks. One will be placed at 5th Street and one at 103rd St. The kayak group needs a spokesperson.

VICE-PRESIDENT REPORT: Gary Armour has hats and t shirts available.
DOCKMASTER’S REPORT: Don Vogel thanked everyone for building docks and the preparation for dock installation, there were 3 crews and about 40 volunteers. The workers were treated to lunch on the two days they worked, thank you ladies. On Wednesday Feb. 1, they will be tearing out the old docks, Friday Feb 3 the new docks will be floated into the dock area. Monday, Feb 6 plans are to put in new pilings and install the docks.
The storm last week had higher than normal tides, several boats had broken ropes, he suggests ropes be ½” twisted nylon, check your ropes to determine if they need replaced. When using the 5th Street ramp, low tide is better for launching than high tide. Boat storage area is tight, make sure your trailer has your name & park address on the tongue, motors need to be left in the down position. Don asked someone to volunteer to take over the Dock master’s position He will assist with training a new member.
BOAT ASSIST LIST: Don Domrose has an updated list as of January, please let him know if you have changes to your phone numbers and if you still want to remain on the list.
