How about some GREAT NEWS? EVERYBODY, All residents of our Park.

Please observe social distancing and mask wearing. We recommend you bring your own chair and coffee. Limited coffee and wrapped donuts (pastries) will be available. Cash awards will be distributed for the December monthly fishing contest.
Attention: Paradise Bay and Sarasota Bay – The Boating & Fishing Club has a deal for you!We are going to have a JANUARY MONTHLY FISH CONTEST FOR EVERYONE, no membership required. Let’s get people out boating and fishing!
Memberships with $10.00 Dues are optional for this season but if made, will be considered a donation. See any officer to have your name added to the Membership Roster.
The contest requires following Florida Wildlife Commission Rules. All fish must be within their Legal requirements. Remember Snook, Redfish and Trout are still catch and release, making them ineligible for this Contest. We are NOT going to require 2 Boat Club Members as witnesses but will use the HONOR System, you go fishing, then measure and post your fish. The board to Post your fish is by the Gazebo, 2nd Street and Bayview. To newcomers, our Contests award 1st, 2nd and 3rd anglers with the fish measured according to species. If you have any questions, please contact an Officer or Member and we can help.
The present plan is to have Monthly Contests for January, February and March.
Gary Armour has Club Hats & T-shirts available at his Residence.
No Club sponsored Coast Guard Auxiliary Boat Inspections this season.
Members, we need YOU! The Offices of President, Vice President and Treasurer are open for the 2021-2022 season. Please consider serving our Club. It is worthwhile and fun to be on the Executive Board and become a leader of the Club. Our current officers are willing to help you get started.

>FWC extends snook, red drum and spotted seatrout catch-and-release measures in areas impacted by prolonged red tide
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will extend catch-and-release measures for snook, red drum and spotted seatrout for an additional year via an Executive Order. All three species will remain catch-and-release through May 31, 2021, in all waters from the Hernando/Pasco county line south through Gordon Pass in Collier County.
These temporary regulation changes were made to help conserve these popular inshore species that were negatively impacted by a prolonged red tide that occurred in late 2017 through early 2019.
Learn more about regulations for these species by visiting MyFWC.com/Marine and clicking on “Recreational Regulations.”
View the Commission meeting presentation at MyFWC.com/Commission by clicking on “Commission Meetings” and the agenda under “February 19-20, 2020.”
