Discussion was held about the Welcome Bag project for the Activities Committee. Report on progress was given by J. Farrington. She will follow up with new owners who were not able to be contacted throughout the summer and Peggy announced we will get a new volunteer list going for this season.
There was a discussion/description of Thrivent Financial Services who has donated generously to our projects through S. Miller & J. Nicholson over the past 3-4 years. All members were encouraged to question their churches or fraternal organizations they might be affiliated with to see if there are other avenues available to us.
Ladies Friendship Club is scheduled to serve at coffee hour on Monday, Dec 18. Members Penny B., Lynn J., Lynn F., Violet A., Donna M., and Paula P. volunteered.
Joyce N. asked how many had interest in her printing more of our recipe book we compiled in 2018/2019.
She will print another 15 or so to be distributed to those wanting them.
Joyce N. distributed a wish list for SOLVE Maternity Homes, an organization we previously donated to.
A motion was made to each bring 1 item to the next meeting to be donated to SOLVE Maternity Homes.
The motion was approved by a majority vote, so we will have a “donation baby shower” at the next meeting
January 10.
Motion, seconded, and Meeting was adjourned at 2:30 pm.
Respectfully submitted by Joyce Nicholson in Karen Rimatzki’s absence.
